IFP MN SUPPORTS FILMMAKERS AND SCREENWRITERS
With funding from the McKnight Foundation IFP MN annually selects four individuals based on merit to receive a $25,000 fellowship. Two are specifically for filmmakers and two for screenwriters.

IFP Minnesota and The McKnight Foundation will award four $25,000 fellowships to Minnesota filmmakers and screenwriters in 2008. The fellowships honor the professional and artistic accomplishments of Minnesota artists writing and directing for the screen. Writers are required to submit one feature-length screenplay. Directors are required to submit two work samples in feature or short length in any of the genres of narrative, documentary, experimental, or animation.
Minnesota residents who meet the criteria are strongly encouraged to apply for this outstanding program.
Guidelines and application for the 2009 McKnight Fellowships will be available in Fall 2008.
